#1 Location of rear water drain tube from bootlid opening.

Hello there, I have a 74 OTS and my left drainage tube is clocked up. Problem is that I cant find the tube under the rear ? I tried to put a long flexible metal wire down but it stops like 40 cm down the tube. I suspect that maybe some earlier smart resto guy might have plastered it in, but the condition seems pretty good. Is there a smart way to measure the location and is the distance between rear panel and fueltank enough to drill carefully? Tips are appreciated. Thank you Thor

Hi Bob, thank you for your answer. Ah is the outlet supposed to be in the "lump" where the fuel tank drain is. I will have a closer look there!

Hi Thor,
I have circled it. I think on the OTS it is joined with the fuel filler box drain via a "Y" piece just inside the floor but completely hidden by the fuel tank .
