#1 Clutch master cylinder spacer

Post by Curtis Bay » Sun Nov 08, 2020 8:30 pm

I am converting a series 3 V12 auto to manual and need to install a master cylinder on the existing pedal box.

I believe there is a spacer which is fitted between the cylinder and mounting but this is no longer available. Does anyone know how thick it is is that I can make one?

I know this subject has been raised before but rather inconclusively.

Many thanks.

Hi. Having some clutcproblems I saw this thread. Maybe late but came across a reproduction spacer plate from scparts:

https://www.scparts.co.uk/sc_en/spacer- ... 17755.html

My problem: Master cylinder pushrod dislocated. Tried to push clutch pedal it was stuck, pushing harder it suddenly floored with no resistance. Discowered pushrod is dangling from clutch pedal arm and bent ( probably from « pushing harder» ). Have not looked more into it right now, but anyone any ideas?

Rgds Harald
