Hi Jagies,

My cat want's on the road soon and I have to finish work on all ends (interior, cabling, ...).
The car was not disassembled by myself (and if it is quite a while since) and I have a lot of parts that still need there place to go

Any help welcome !

Number 1: I powder coated these two and now don't know where they are missing

I'm guessing door striker plate shims.

Andrew is right: door striker shim (BD19298).

Hello again,

I need to mount the horn relay (at or close to the frame or maybe to a mudgard panel).
I have an assembly with an SRB111/121 (if i did not mix up) not sure where to mount. It has bolts for another relay or as mounting points ...
2nd pic: That's the way it was hanging around years ago :-)

Now I am struggling with the fuel-feed pipe :D

The metal pipe ends at the lower frame and is continued with a low diameter (5mm) rubber pipe with a plastic connector at it's end. On the other side I have a 10mm pipe feeding the carbs.
What is missing in between (and why was it done that way) ?

SNG sells an under hood fuel hose pipe set consisting of 4 pieces:

but even if i had it I would not know how to interface the plastic connector (which I don't like btw :D).
I guess the two short ones are connecting the crosspipe to the carbs. The longer ones are the feed and return pipe but I am missing the connection down to the frame.

I will purchase braided hoses for the return (8mm) and 10mm (carb feed line).

Any advise welcome !

Oh yet another question:
Where is the grounding supposed to be attached to the frame ? Is it here and should I blank the post for better contact ? The grounding strap for the engine is attached between the bell-housing and the frame yes ?

That 5 mm hose with the plastic connector is the fuel expansion tank vent, that connects to your charcoal canister, it is NOT the fuel supply.

That SNGB hose kit you reference, I suspect it is for the fuel lines in the back (boot/trunk) connecting the tank and the fuel pump and fuel filter, is not for the engine bay.

The earth strap between the frame and the bell housing is on the left side, bottom bolt.

So when i have dropped the filter stuff should i blank it off ?

You have to know that i did not disassemble the car by myself and things have been resting for years. I do take pictures almost anytime but much of the car was returned in boxes :D

Imo you should reinstate the fuel expansion tank and charcoal canister, these perform useful functions irrespective of any emissions control benefit. In any case I doubt you will get registration without these oem parts.
Battery strap bolts onto the footwell bulkhead.

This thick (probably AWG1) cable is about 80cm long. Is this supposed to be attached on the inside of the grounding bolt maybe ? Sorry i did not clean and fix the connectors yet.

p.s: I have already a valid registration done in the end 90s and when checking exhaust gases they always had to close both eyes even with the US stuff, retarding, blabla fitted. I hope to get better emission values with an electronic ignition system.

But should be i think - it also has the typical black plastic strap (but uncolored wires ?) ? Unfort. the plugs are not shown in the circuit diagram but the 4 pin plug should be unique but I did not (yet) find the counterpart.

A really big puzzle and the last 10% are the hardest.
