Hi All
Can anybody tell me what the block is between the window regulator and the bottom of the rail that clamps the glass its P/N BD39000. Martin Robey don't supply them anymore. I just thought I could make two if somebody could describe them to me.
Many Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark - I just used a short length (about 3") of an old rubber door seal which had one flat edge and a circular section giving an uncompressed height of about 1". Glued flat edge to bottom of door with bostik or similar after marking the best position by winding the window down onto the seal and then cleaning the surfaces to be bonded. Keep the seal and adhesive away from the small channel between the outer skin and the bottom of the door.
All the best

Hi Chris
Thanks very much for your reply I now understand it just glues to the bottom of the door to limit the down position of the glass.

Hi Mark
A couple of images which may help. If you enlarge the first it shows what looks like a foam block (hopefully closed cell). The second suggests that it is of square section. You can scale the length from the door lock handle but it looks about 4"-5"x1"x1" overall.
