#1 Vacuum feed?

Post by NATO » Fri Sep 23, 2022 10:45 am

Hi,
I am doing some repairs to the fuel system due to ethanol degrading various hoses and o-rings, and noticed what looks like a vacuum feed that’s not connected to anything. Any ideas what or where it should be connected to?
Thanks
Neil

The bottom of the left rear carburettor was originally connected to the distributor vacuum retard capsule to retard the ignition at idle.

kind regards
Marek

Looks like it has been changed sometime over its life as no vacuum on the distributor now.
Thanks for your help.

Block it off, remove the rubber elbow, replace it with a rubber cap, to improve idle and efficiency.
