#1 Does anyone recognise this E-Type?

Post by Ash » Mon Oct 03, 2022 7:08 pm

This car is being offered in an auction for seized vehicles, sadly as a result has been parted from all of its history. A 2-owner car in the unusual colour of Willow Green with black leather this is a very early example which definitely needs some TLC. It would be great to reunite the car with its history, so I am appealing to the E-Type community for help.

If you have the VIN (ie - UC1S1001) you may find info on the car at http://www.xkedata.com/
XKEDATA does not sort their listing of E-Types by license plate number.
That database has nearly 1/3 of 1,871 RHD OTS V12s -- 606 of them. You might get lucky

DVLA lists the car as SORN and no MOT data. The car is not insured. Need the VIN for XKE Data search.

The registration looks to me ( SU) as being a modern registration applied by the DVLA either long after the car was first registered here, or to an imported vehicle
