Just a quick one fellas, working on my Auto series 3 tonight, whilst kneeling down out side the car with engine running, I lent over get something from the drivers footwell and accidentally knocked the car into reverse!!!!
My handbrake didn't stop it from dragging me along the drive until I realised what i'd done and knocked it into neutral.... I ache a bit now, and no references to Brian Harvey please.... yes....... I'm stupid.

A very worrying scenario, good that you're ok.
On my S1 once in Park and most other, the lever must be pulled to the side to allow any change of gear, only the D2 and N are free to be selected without this lock method. I'm not familiar with the S3 BW but I did think at least Park was always a safe locked selection.

Reminds me of a chap who actually did this......
Working under the bonnet of his car with the engine running he blipped the throttle and pinned himself against a wall. Cant remember if he broke his legs or not, but as no-one liked the fellow, news of the event was shared widely.
