Any points to be wary of

#2 Re: Lower wishbone bushes replacment
Hi Rob - I recently had all four lower wishbone bushes replaced but by my service guy as it wasn't a job I wanted to tackle or could do sensibly myself. Not just the torsion bars but also the ball joints. My guy had to heat up one of the ball joints in order to separate it as well as using a hydraulic puller - not a job for the faint-hearted.
My guy is anti the polybushes and so I purchased the best quality bushes from SNGB. I strongly recommend that you don't purchase the low cost bushes made in India as they can split when push-fitted. You shoulld feel the improvement in ride quality after the bushes replacement.
Please let us know how you get on.
Best
Chris
