S3 Clock Wiring

Have had the clock refurbished and I have reinstalled. Wiring diagram says power comes from purple wire from Fuse 3 via interior light switch, however although I do have a "spare" purple wire from that switch it does not provide power. I found (!) an additional purple wire coming from the lights switch and that works fine. But where should the other wire from the interior lights switch go?

Thanks, Craig - have had a look at your channel. I think some extra time needed with a multimeter in and around the interior light switch and fuse 3! You have encouraged me to get into it.

Sorted. Problem was indeed fuse / fuse holder related and clock wiring us now as per diagram. I've also sorted out the map light wiring while I was at it. Thanks.
