#1 Brake Pipe Orientation Picture

Post by andrewk » Tue Jun 23, 2026 4:36 pm

Hi,

Can anyone help with a picture of the correct orientation for the solid brake pipe (RH cars) which runs along the front bulkhead i.e. connects the Servo with the Master C33904?

On my car, the pipe sits below the two solid vacuum lines and I believe the correct orientation should be above these pipes. What I'm not sure of is the direction below the wiper motor, is it flush with the bulkhead, or protrudes outwards as indicated in the parts manual?

I have searched on the net, but can't find anything.

Any help is appreciated.

Andrew

Hi Andrew. On my car the pipe in question sits above the two solid pipes along the bulkhead. It protrudes outwards below the wiper motor as shown in your diagram. Directly below the wiper motor the pipe stands away from the bulkhead by about 15mm (thickness of my middle finger) then bends to sit flush on the bulkhead.
