#1 Manual Gearbox Mount

I am in the process of re-fitting my IRS and a new propshaft. having bolted the prop to the gearbox I fitted the gearbox mounting plate bracket and spring and it now looks like this.

Two questions:

1. When I removed this plate some months ago, there were about 4 washers used as spacers between the plate and the body over all 5 bolts. Were they supposed to be there? I thought not since I could not find them in the parts book so for re-fitting, I left them out

2. Is the centre stud, washer and nut supposed to stick out low like this? Makes me think those spacer washers should be there after all.

Can someone post a picture of their V12 gearbox mount please?

Hi mark . there are 5 spacers under plate to body(each measuring 1/2 by 1 inch approx) pete
