#1 2+2 Rear Door Panel Trim

Post by othy » Wed Aug 29, 2012 12:45 pm

Hi all,

I wonder if someone could direct me to a clear picture of how the rear door is trimmed. The large panel on my car has become damp and distorted so have cut another one but I suspect that the original was not trimmed correctly.

From what I can tell the material/panel should go up to and possibly under the seal. Mine has just been wrapped around the door card exposing the bare metal.

Hope this makes sense.

Cheers

Yes, the top edge is usually tucked under. Go to www.xkedata.com and search for a photo, same as any FHC or 2+2 6 cylinder. Hopefully your car is listed on xkedata too?
