#1 Windscreen Wiper Motor

Having removed the black lump of grease and grot with a rusty motor casing sticking out of it from the bulkhead I need to remove the electrical connector block from the gearbox housing so that I can clean it all.
Can anyone tell me how the connector block is attached? Is it just pushed on to a spigot and just needs levering off or is there a bolt/screw going into it from inside the gearbox housing? I don't want to remove the gears if I don't have to.
