Looking in the tyrewell in the boot of my newly acquired S2+2, I found a round hole in the bottom right of the boot - it looks like a large drain hole (as it is at the lowest part of the boot) that should have a grommet in it.
I can't find this mentioned in the parts manual or anywhere else. Is this normal?
I presume that it is better with a grommet in it than not, particularly as it would let spray from the rear wheel in if I ever get caught out in the rain!

Missing Grommet?
#2 Grommet
What I did was fit a nice tight NEW grommet and then cut the middle out.
That allows the little bit of water out and a bit of fresh air in.
Water should not ingress through that particular grommet.
PS my boot is bone dry

Thanks DC
So... The hole should be there, I can put a grommet in if I want, but leave/make a hole to stop the boot getting wet.
Did I get that right?
