Tyres for series 3

Hi, my car is upgraded with performance shocks, thicker anti roll bars and poly suspension bushes - I like to use all performance where possible ( car is fuel injected ) but not sure what make of tyre to go for as the ones on now are well over 10 years old. An earlier comment suggested Michelins

The best tyre you can buy for the S3 is the Michelin XWX 205/70VR15 but they are not cheap! Fitted to the S3 in period and also standard fitment on the Miura, Maserati Ghibli, Ferrari 365 etc etc Beautiful period look to the tread pattern as well: http://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/page/jaguar-e-type Give Dougal a call and discuss your requirements with him as he always has good advice and watch his video's.

I've used them for years and just put 2 new ones on the back off Dougal and they provide excellent grip, they were standard use by the police on jags in the 70's to improve performance and are high speed rated.
