Hello

OK I'm off ill and bored but tis does give me the chance to catch up on lots of research.

Does anyone know who supplies the remote bleeding kit for the inboard rear brakes. I have seen them mentioned in several articles where the bleed niples are relocated, to the rear subframe where you can get at it.
Cheers

Not sure if any one makes a kit as such. Most people resort to attaching a couple of spare steel brake lines to the calipers with bleed nipples on the ends. A clips are used to attach them to the IRS to stop them wagging about. I have seen some nicely machined alloy brackets on a couple of cars but these may have been bespoke items.

Worth investing in a Mity-vac if you intend to bleed the brakes without assistance.

As you say a do it yourself item though I'm sure I saw this as a kit somewhere......why oh why do I never note these things down when i see them.

Will,

My S3 has 2 removable rear brake inspection panels in the rear bulkhead. I accessed the nipples through these and not difficult at all. Having said that my cars not trimmed yet so I guess this makes it easier.

Good luck with it.

Sorry for the delayed responce.
Yes the little panels do gain aceess but with the car all fitted out access to niples is a pig and you have, well I did a bottle pf break fluid in the car which is not a good idea.
Cheers
Will.

He's ahead of me. I'm still working out if the thread title includes a verb participle or two adjectives?
