Hi,

I have a problem for reglage to the contact of kick down.
The contact it's ok but i can't make a reglage.

- With 2 hire ; the speed change alone everytime
ou
- With 1 hire (contact ko), the speeds are stable (no kick down)

Sorry for my bad english....i hope you understand my problem...

I am not sure that I understand - are you saying:

1) you are trying to adjust the kick down switch as it is not working as it should.
2) the switch is tested and working
3) Selecting "1", the car stays in first gear correctly
4) Selecting "2" the car kicks down to 1st when it should stay in 2nd gear

Dear Christophe,

The length of free cable affects how the kick-down is actuated. Correctly adjusted, the microswitch is designed to engage only when you are at, or close to, full throttle. The automatic gearbox also uses its vacuum connection to judge the engine load and whether it needs to kick-down.

I have always my problem.
The contact and the cable accelerator are news.

I'm not unterstand how make a reglage for the contact.
I' can't see what is make a mouvment cable => contact !
