The part number is BD38061. These are available in either tinted or clear from most of the usual vendors.
If you go to http://www.sngbarratt.com/DownloadArea.aspx you can download SNG Barratt's E Type parts catalogue. While not comprehensive it is a good place to start. The official Jaguar parts books list every nut and bolt, and the S3 one has particularly good diagrams.
I have not ever bought windscreens from the usual parts vendors, preferring to get the local windscfreen installers to get screens for me. Comeback is easier if they don't fit...
SNGB list the screen for ?501.84; pricey. If you are looking for a used one there are a couple of places in the UK that are worth a look. Hutsons is the only place I've sourced used parts from but other members will no doubt be able to suggest others.
As a footnote, the subscribers to Jag forums are sometimes a more conservative bunch that those you might find on other forum sites on the internet. I am involved in a broad range of forums across a very diverse range of interests from coding, MMORPG, technical diving, medicine and vintage cars to name some. Subscribers here are perhaps a little more oriented towards the forum as a group of real people with names rather than the more privacy protective approach taken in other areas. Personally it doesn't concern me at all; I am just as comfortable as an unidentifiable avatar on a forum as being referred to by my real name. Others on these forums feel differently and will be more approachable if they can see you as a person rather than "just being drawn this way" :D

Beware, not all S3 2+2 windscreens actually fit! Some have the wrong curvature at the top right/bottom left and leave a gap in one or the other side/corner.
The best ones are made by Pilkington's in Kent/Sussex and they have a dot under the third X of triplex X. The one I got was supplied by SNGB from Pilkingtons.

Hi Jessica.....are you doing a restoration or has yours just cracked....if the later dont forget you could claim on your insurance

I've had my Series III OTS for 18 months now. It recently got a cracked windscreen so I called the insurance company - only had to pay ?75 windscreen excess.
I assumed they would send round "the classic car guy", but the bloke who turned up from National Windscreens had never done an E-type before.
I was worried about fitment, but it went in fine.
Old screen looked like this:
New screen looks like this:
I was a bit worried about his lack of E-type experience, but it turned out fine. I bought new rubbers in case he needed them but he was able to reuse the old set.
Only one special tool was needed, and it looked like this:
....and no, I'm not wearing odd shoes, only one of those is mine!

Congratulations with first post, complete with multiple pictures (with informative content), and a decent bit of humour :D
Most seem to take quite a few posts to cross the picture threshold, and some have still not managed to crack the humour bit.

I also contacted my insurers and two experienced fitters came, however they brought a windscreen by a different supplier (Pugh) and the windscreen was nowhere near correct. After some research I got a Pilkington one (like the one you got) and it fitted well.
No matter how good the fitter is, its having a correct windscreen that matters.
You were lucky they used the right make.
