Covered in general topic but this is for a ser 3
I was with Footman James but found this year the price had doubled with no reasons being given. I have just insured with Admiral for ?147 that includes legal and protected no claims bonus, clean licence and 9 years plus ncb.
Ser 3 2+2 E type with only modifications being a wood steering wheel, a Thatcham 1 alarm / immobiliser and fossway remote bleed lines. Car was totally rebuilt some 10 yrs ago with all new panels / engine and gearbox the whole lot was done. Car is Condition 1 in other words perfect
BUT
What is the value because I have sent off all rebuild phots and 8 phots of car and it does look superb, should say car is orig RHD manua,l wires and red
I have looked in 3 mags
1. values it at 30k
2. valued at 38k
3 valued at 45 to 60k
that's a hell of a price difference. I tend to look on prices Classic car ads and e bay for realistic prices
I will let you know what Admiral say the cars value is when they let me know
