Carb float recommendations

Looking to replace my floats in my SU carbs on 1962 S1 DHC. What recommendations do you suggest, stay up floats, original floats, cone shaped stay up floats, after market floats etc.
One of my current brass floats has a small amount of petrol in it so thinking of changing them all with stay up floats.

Tony : I changed the floats on my Daimler for stayup ones and cannot recommend them highly enough. They are worth the extra money in my view

Please excuse my ignorance, but what are stay up floars?
I hae had punctured brass floats, and know they come in other materials, but stay up..?

Hi Christopher, it was on your recommendation I was thinking of the stay up floats but I notice there are the cylinder type ones and the cone shaped stay up floats. Any thought on the pros and cons of the two types.

Peder , the stay up floats, I presume are floats that cannot take in fuel so they do not sink causing flooding. That's as about as much as I know about them. But they sound a good idea as I have had problem with the old brass type in the past. Someone will be along shortly to educate us further.

Tony : I think the conical ones are for the older HS type carburetters . The ones we need for the E are, I think , the T4 type which are a closed cell foam construction of cylindrical shape, part no.AUE899, but it is worth checking direct with Burlen
