Radiator Hose Lubricants
#1 Radiator Hose Lubricants
Going to be fitting new hoses. I have in the past used fairy liquid to ease tight pipe fittings on, but read recently on this forum that you shouldn't do that, and a particular grease was recommended. Sadly, I can't find that post! What do people recommend to use (if anything) when fitting hoses?

A little WD-40 helps get the job done. No downside.

Yep, red rubber grease will allow you to remove the hoses in a few years time. Other products will weld them in place.
