Series 1 header tank

Hi all, need some help identifying the header tank on my June 63 fhc, all others I’ve seen are pressed in two halves as opposed to folded like mine in the pic. Anyone know if it’s correct? Also the rad (brass) ta.

Your overflow tank is roughly the correct shape but appears to be an aftermarket item. All original tanks were joined by a centered circumferential seam, as you noted.
Your radiator is not original -- the original Marston radiator featured finns on the sides.

Thanks Bud, I still think the rad may be correct tho, the finned Marston rad was only fitted up until early 63 (I think) before they went over to the rads with the rounded pressed sides. Some US spec cars (which mine is) had the square sided brass rads. Hoping someone can clarify. Cheers.

All 3.8's were fitted with the Marston radiator at the Factory. Yours, along with the header tank, is an after-market item. Jaguar issued the C25070 brass radiator which appeared in the parts bulletin in 1965 as a replacement for the Marston but it had indented sides.
