#1 Is Opalescent dark grey a S1 color?

Post by Lual » Wed Nov 06, 2019 9:10 pm

Hi

Is Opalescent dark grey a S1 color?

I have not been able to find it in xkedata or other sites, but this is according to the car dealer the name of the color I like.

Could this be another name for the gunmetal?

Thanks,

No!

There was Opalescent Gunmetal or Opalescent Silver Grey. Details on paint codes and photos of cars in the Forum Knowledge Base.

Buggar! My recently arrived JDHT certificate states ‘Silver’ not ‘Dark’. Apologies in my excitement I posted in error. Should have read ‘definitely for a 66 car in opalescent silver grey’. I’ll hand my card in at the door.

Ignore him Simon - yesterday was his 65th birthday when he officially became a grumpy old man!
