Can anyone tell me what goes in this hole?

Probably a really stupid question.....

Please can someone tell me what goes into this hole on the top face of the oil filter housing? At the bottom there is a return pipe to the sump but I cant see where this one would go.

I cant see anything on the SNGB site or on any photographs.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Looks to me like connection port for your gauge or sender

Oil Pressure gauge sender

Definitely oil pressure sender....do not start the engine without it in place or a huge oily mess will occur!
