#1 Series 1 2+2 chrome apost trims

Hi
Any advice on what to use to secure the chrome trims on the windscreen a pillars
I have been told they are glued on?
Any recommendation please

Mine has screws into the pillar, tucked under the door seal. SNGB parts suggest this is OE fitting.

No screws on mine. Glued in place with a black mastic. I use Loctite 5910 when I want a strong bond.

I do have screws at the end of each of the horizontal chrome trims. Top and bottom of windscreen.

Have some 5190 so will use that
There are small screws under the seal
