Hi all my name is NIck, i am trying to find out any information on a mk2 4.2 e-type my father owned. The car was bought as a left hand drive 2+2 and rebuilt as a right hand drive convertible. Unfortunately due to the untimely death of my father it ment we wernt able to keep his prid and joy that he spent so many hours lovingly restoring. The registration number Was and still is as far as I can work out MBV 445G, I have the engine number as 1R42829 and the vin number as 1R26046. I've checked on xk data to no avail. Sorry for the long message, hope someone out there can help.

Tax was due 1st Sept 2000, and no MOT records, so it’s not been on the road for a few years. Might still be tucked away in someone’s garage though.
