Hi Again,
I am trying in vain to pull out my headrests but they will not budge.
They are about half way out.
Are there any secret buttons, prayers or spells to extricate the or is it down to a soft hammer and brute force?
Any advice would be welcome before I end up damaging the seats.
Nigel.

There is a spring clip retaining the headrest. It is on one side of the chromed tube and will need to be pushed into the tube to allow the headrest to be removed.
With the seat out of the car undo the bottom of the leather seat back so you can slide your hand up inside the seat.
I used a hacksaw blade to slide under the spring clip and the headrest will then come out.
Be calm in mind before you start and be prepared for grazed knuckles.
Good luck.
