Can you raise the headrest on a series 3. I would like to fit some kind of bracket to direct the seat belt through

The headrests are adjustable and there is a standard bracket to guide the seat belt on later cars.

I believe the headrests are similar to those in S2 seats and those in many BMC/BL vehicles from the late '60s and early '70s.
I picked up a pair of MG branded plastic guides from eBay, they work well enough...
