#3 Re: Alternator adjustment bracket
I've just removed the two bolts you were asking about as part of replacing my water pump. They are 1 7/8" long 5/16" UNC. Incidentally, there are 2 spacers that go between the water pump and the bracket to ensure proper alignment with the adjuster arm of the alternator.

#5 Re: Alternator adjustment bracket
I have downloaded two photographs one showing it mounted on the top two bolts. The other mounted lower down on the right hand side making the adjuster more vertical . Unfortunately the top two studs ? are not long enough to use and the finish on the end of them suggests they are original. I am loath to try to remove these as I have had to try and remove a snapped water pump bolt lower down and I ended up even with heating and tapping with a hammer etc snapping it and having to drill and re tap it . So it is going to be mounted lower down. Bryan
