#1 Portable Scissor Lifts. advice please

Post by andrewh » Sat Feb 26, 2011 1:42 pm

Has anyone bought one of the many different portable scissor lifts on the market and can they advise me on the varying manufactuers. Most of these are available via the internet/e bay etc, and therefore one doesnt have the opportunity to check them out. I also see there are different types, high lift, low lift, with ramps without ramps just arms etc etc. Any advice much appreciated. thx

Now he's getting serious.

All this so he can clean the ceiling in the garage.

I have an empty building down the road with 12 ramp workshop and room to display 15 classics in a warm showroom.

Nice business opportunity???

Thanks for those links. I have heard of the strongman tools before. They look pretty good. I wonder if you can lift the E type whilst leaving the engine and box on the deck with one of these?
