#1 Did anybody tell me? NO

Post by Tony » Mon Apr 26, 2021 11:32 pm

Pondering what to do today, I started painting the front outside windows for the want of having nothing better to do. My wife strolls in and informs me at about 4pm there is a classic car auction going on 200 yards up the road. Did anybody tell me, was I informed, NO.
However I have found out it is on for 3 viewing days up at Thornton Manor. So the windows will be abandoned (for another year) and I shall pop up to view the cars. It would be a pity not to go being so close.

Did you go? And have you seen anything interesting during the auction?

I did go but it was a small auction . There were one or two interesting cars but nothing to write home about. However, it was a nice morning out and saved me from having to paint the windows. The windows have since been completed so I can now relax for the summer. NOT. My wife now wants the hall, stairs and landing doing. Is there no end to the jobs our wives can dream up.
