Well.... very long day, have got it home and not without a little effort. My good friend R. drove me down this morning in his TVR Tuscan S. (what a piece of kit) got there three ish and had a good look round. Basically sound, and as the photo good lines on the drivers side bit of work needed passengers side. New boot floor and rear 1/4's new Jaguar fuel tank!! new sills (outer) and a generally good bonnet (with a dink over the alternator) wire bolt-ons reasonable tyres, tired interior headlining seats switchgear running gear, new ball joints, needs tracking, needs bushes, needs fan electrics, needs air collector/ filter assembly, needs uj's looking at, needs prop balence? and or O/P shafts needs clutch and brake master / slave's rubbers etc etc. all do-able. Very original car engine good needs tuning, carbs, air, etc old engine correct numbers needs fettling stud extraction rebuild. fairly good outcome, admiring comments all round.
TVR breaks down on return journey, leave R. at services on A1 make it home with hge hangover because silly bugger hear brims it and the closing plate leaks like a seive so windows open and stick foot down to get the fuel level down..... Oh well 1971 got home and 550 BHP of tvr hasn't. Tired now, apologies about the grammar spelling and everything else.
Toodle pip (drives really well suspension good subframes straight :D :D )
