#1 stamp on block 4.2 what does it mean

folks, newbee here, on the front of block driver side (left) is stamp XCH what does this mean?
my block number is 7e50606 and not correct block for my car. 67 coupe Thanks Mike.

Hi Autoalain,

Depending on exactly where you mean, it’s probably the stamp that matches the stamp on the timing chain cover. They machined the block surface with the timing cover attached so that the cylinder head will attached perfectly.

Also, it’s a good idea to add your name and car model in your signature, so every time you post, the details get added every time.
