Okay
Let’s go slow
On our Etype coupes we have a
1.Crossmember, It goes from driver to passenger side all the ways across
2.In the center there is a THICK lower steel plate which it is welded to and where your nuts are for the transmission mount
3.above the crossmember in the center is a secondary overlap frame which goes
Side to Side Inside the tunnel area only
4 That is welded Over the first cross member in the middle and to the side of the body inside the tunnel
5 The new improved by a mile Guy Broad lower mounting bracket bolts into the same welded nuts BUT the load is spread to 2 solid rubber mounts on the left and right side of the transmission and plate
6 not that CHEAP terrible center spring bouncing around like a trampoline like the original
So I really do understand Integrity of the metal
But all I’m
Asking is I have a solid cross brace
I have a double lap center brace
I have complete solid outer braces
What situation could make my center section fold with all of the above
I’m never to cautious when I do my projects
As we can see but this car if not rusted is overkill on the structure and that’s why I like it!
These pics make sense?

Those are original floors and seems! I just add undercoating for the snow
