My IRS was fully rebuilt and fitted to the car before i bought it. The 2 rear wheels are fouling the inner arches quite badly when fitted. There are 205/70s fitted to the car at present. Any basic things to check on the IRS before I haul it out for a look and check?
Thanks, Alasdair

You say 205s are fitted at present, if you’ve any plan to change them, why not fit the correct 185s? You’ll not regret it.

Hi Geoff, the wheels will be replaced with a shiny new set of MWS wheels and the correct 185 tyres. I had a browse of the forum earlier and see the 185 original size is the one to go for.

I have a scabby set of original curly hub wire wheels and ancient Pirelli cross ply white wall tyres that you are welcome to borrow until your new ones arrive. I wouldn't take them out on the road though.
Might make sense if you are somewhere in the Cheshire/Shropshire area.
