#1 Heater duct in bonnet question

Post by ollieoscarsid » Sat May 13, 2023 5:52 am

The very last part to fit on my car is the heater duct. The bulkhead it fits to has no holes other than those used to hold bonnet together. Only two of these would be if any use to hold the duct. Can anyone advise please? It’s a 63 car. Thanks.

Has the bonnet been replaced? That bulkhead is for the later snorkel type inlet. I have the same problem with my 64 3.8 so fitted the snorkel inlet, which I think looks better.

Ahh, that’s helpful thanks. I’ve always assumed it’s the original bonnet, maybe it has been replaced then. Thanks for the pic.
