#1 Insurance who to use

Post by Harveysearle » Thu May 25, 2023 6:59 pm

Hi guys
Just asking what insurance company to use that you know are good.
I was and still am insured with Hagerty while my car was being restored and that was great , paid the extra for a few months because it was finished.
Just had a quote for renewal and they want £790 for limited 5000 miles gone up £400 seem now they want to rip me off. Also can’t get hold of them.
Has anyone used Heritage, they advertise in our mag
Be pleased of any suggestions
Thank you
Harvey

I have always used Classicline. No limited mileage, sensible agreed valuation process and not expensive. My premium was £312, agreed value of £145k, unlimited mileage and my wife as a named driver.

Also Peter james, with whom I have dealt for many years. Good service and always answer the phone within a few seconds

Don't discount Admiral.

I have 4 cars with them. The E has agreed value, named driver, full European cover (and they got me home from Belgium last year!) and it's about £150 p.a.
I also have a Jag XFS, an F Type, and a Toyota Yaris.

All with named drivers, all European cover.

Total premium for all 4 cars £1200 p.a

And you can ring them!
Malcolm
I only fit in a 2+2, so got one!
