#1 Tacho generator
The tacho has stopped working on my Series 1. I removed the tacho generator at the rear of the rocker cover and spun it up with a drill and the tacho in the car works. Any ideas whats going on here? Any thoughts or suggestions much appreciated.

The movement of the armature may be because the bush is loose.WEBSTER1357 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2024 4:23 pmThank you that's a very informative article and tapping out the armature has fixed it. Tacho now working great advice many thanks.
If it happens again that probably needs addressing.
