#1 Turn Signal Repeaters

Post by nzmike » Sun Sep 01, 2024 4:53 am

Hi all, the turn signal repeaters on the dash of my E Type have stopped working. I have used a test lamp and they are getting power, but it looks like they are not earthing properly. Is anyone aware of where the earth is for these? I cannot track it via the wiring diagram.

Try searching on Google for "servicing the jaguar e type series 1 turn signal switch"
There is a great article on yumpu that explains how to strip, clean and repair the switch

It is an annoying site with loads of pop up adverts although it is still possible to navigate around them to see the excellent article

Theres an under dash earth point, near turn signal relay, far RH side & behind dash. If I remember rightly, it's a bolt on mine with a number of ring connectors.
