Dash scroll finisher BD35699/35700

Dear All,

I own an early E type DOHC 3.8 (flatfloor)1961.
My car does not have the dash scroll finisher but there is a small gap between the dash top and the A-post screen pillar panel. It seems that something is missing, either the dash scroll finisher or a wrong screen pillar panel. I checked pictures of early E types, all not very detailled but most probably without finisher.

Can someone help me out?
