I see there were a few postings on this issue last year but couldn't see any obvious solution.
Car starts and runs perfectly but if I stop the engine after it is hot then it won't restart until it has cooled a bit, after about half an hour.
I had some lumpy running issues a few years ago and cured this by moving the amplifier to just behind radiator on the space frame. I have the OPUS system and running on SU's.
Don't think that it is fuel as there is no hint of firing.
Any suggestions greatly received.

Hi John,
Couple of thoughts both related to heat soak from a hot engine when stationary.
1. Further age degradation of the 50+ year old electronic components in the amplifier has occured since it was relocated and without airflow they are now failing at a lower temperature than they were previously when mounted on top of the engine.
2. The fuel recirculation system isn't working effectively leading to fuel vapourisation. When the ignition is turned on can the pump can be heard running at a constant rate and is the pressure sustaining valve making a quiet sizzling noise? (The valve is mounted above the left front carb with Strombergs)
