series 1 4.2 1965 IRS rebuild

I am about to have the IRS unit from my 1965 4.2 rebuilt, can anybody let me know what colours the various components should be e.g should the diff be red or black, and should the shocks be blue ?. Many thanks in advance Gurdav

My diff was recently refurbished by AJS engineering and he does it both red and black!



Coincidentally my shocks are also blue unsure whether this is the original shock colour or not though.

Many thanks for the photos, I phoned AJS engineering today, I may well be using them to restore my whole IRS unit.
