#1 New Member from france with a 1966 4.2 FHC

Post by max95 » Mon Jan 23, 2012 4:15 pm

Hi everyone,

my name is Maxime, I'm living in France and I'm 30.

I own a opalescent silver blue FHC 4.2 Serie 1 with its original interior in mint condition. Never restored only resprayed few years ago. It runs like new ! But need few works anyway ;-)

E-type and me is a long story as my dad used to work for the french Jaguar rep. during the 60's.

I had few classic cars during the past...

I always wanted an E-type and now it's done !

Thanks for your welcome !!

Welcome Maxime!

Check out our map of E-Type owners to see who is close to you: http://www.zeemaps.com/World_Map_of_E-Type_s You can add your own location by following these instructions: http://etypeuk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1810

I have no doubt some of our French members will be along here to say hello - there are quite a few now so you could have your own Forum get together. In the meantime feel free to ask any questions.

vipergets,

you're right... having images of a Lady in an E is good.

Maybe I can wear a wig and skirt but I'm note sure you'll have the same effect

Hello Maxime,
(I'm one of the other French of the forum)
Do you live in the 95? (I live in Paris).
What work ,would you have to do on the e type?

Tony and Vipergts: "emmanuel" is male also, even if I must say that all the "emmanuel" in France of my generation, have certainly suffered at school of the permanent evocation of the "Emmanuelle" movie 1,2,3 by other child....
