Chaps - inside the storage area behind the seats... how is this trimmed please - is it the same vinyl colour as elsewhere or is it black hardura? I have gone through my archives and I cant find a picture of the "inside" of the storage thingy...
I am talking about the area seen in the picture below where teh accoustic mat is...
Many thanks

That would be black "Hardura" - thank you.
I thought it might be as i had photos showing the rough insulation that some hardura has on the back surface. But at least I know what to go shopping for now.

Early cats were carpet which extended from the upright panel immediately behind the seat and went under the divider/support for rear compartment load area

I've now seen your pic.
Is that carpet you have on the upright?(vertical section)
I looked at one yesterday and it was carpet all the way to the horizontal but that might have been earlier that yours. I've also seen them vinyl all the way

Actually its "Moquette" as opposed to carpet, but thats how the 3.8's (and my car) indeed were.
The vertical trim panel that becomes the front face of the 'divider' storage area is vinyl as is the lid but that leaves the inside which is the piece of panel work that you can see. Its that inside bit that i am trying to workout but hardura makes the most sense an dit was certainly stuck to insulating material as hardura would have been

Aha...
I have found my original piece of trim that goes inside the divider/storage area. It is not hardura but it is a much thicker and rougher style of vinyl the same colour as the rest of the trim..
Time to talk to some trimming people...

Just notice, that this is an "ancient" posting, but I post my question anyway...
Hi Chris,
but isn't this what you describe Hardura? Hardura is an embossed PVC coated fibre mat. What is on the back side of the material that you have found? My '63 was supplied by Aldrige with an Hardura mat.
