I assume your car has the Marelli distributor and is an XJ40 square shape? It could be the distibutorless rounded-shape X300 model, as that was the changeover year.

Did you get hold of AJ6 Engineering as discussed today on the phone?

I have heard from a car-machanic in Germany, which has done some of theses swaps, that he has used allways the injection of the 5,3HE on the 6,0 motor. The 6,0 injection has problems to work correct, if working without the original automatik-gearbox. Roger Bywater has "reprogrammed" the electronic "brain" of a 5,3-injection to use with a 6,0 motor.
Because of this I have done the swap to the 6,0 l motor with the 4 Strombergs from the 5,3 motor. After some month of "debugging" this combination is running very well.

Can you explain me, why you are converting to fuel injection ?
I had the same idea for long time, would have been willing to spend 4000 Euro for this projekt, but stopped it.

Wouldn't it be easier and produce a better result to use Megasquirt?

I think to make a conversion with a megasquirt running well is not a easy job. If you are using megasquirt you must have knowledge in electronics. I know some EV12 which have been equiped with a injection. Most of the cars have minor problems.
