Anyone got a good source for a stick on number plate? there is just too much choice on the internet.

I went to my local vinyl sign maker and got 2 for ?10 and a free applicator.

and a tip for applying it... cover the bonnet area and back of the plate with weak soapy water and then apply the plate into position. The soapy water allows you some flexibility to adjust the placement / peal re-apply it.

You then squeegee the water out and leave it to dry - trust me it works :)

Hi Chris. you use this method for self adhesive number plates? I thought it was only used for the transfer type.

Works perfectly for all adhesive decals ; just requires dexterity to chase all the bubbles out, but stops larger surfaces 'grabbing' and becoming prematurely stuck. Get a squeegee with a straight edge, a credit-card is quite good for small surfaces.

I used spray on domestic window cleaner, usually green in colour variety, as it evaporates quicker and it less messy to use than soap and water.
