I have just fitted my kit to 1963 series 1 3.8 and cannot get my lap top to see the mega jolt. Engine starts but is rough and needs some adjustments. So any idea about my connection? I am using a USB port. Anyone with experience live near Reading? Hitech are recommended but I don't think I could make it that far, anywhere nearer?

Try a different USB/serial connector as only some of them work. Details are in the support thread which is where you should post this type of query because Ray gets notification and can jump in to help.
