#1 Pics of my new car

Post by malcolm » Fri Jan 31, 2014 3:51 pm

I introduced my self a while back, but have only just been able to collect my car so couldn't share any pics. Just before I collected, the clutch which I had been suspicious of started to slip, so they fitted a new one for free. The flywheel was a tiny bit marked, so they had that skimmed. After a few other small electrical fixes, I finally drove it down from North Yorkshire to Chelmsford 2 days ago. Drove really well, and no problems. So promising!
So now, if my extremely modest IT skills allow, here are a few pics.

Beautiful car, Malcolm. Have fun driving it; it'll keep you out of the pubs and the pool halls!

Handsome looking - I like the S2 best of the 2+2 because of the extended windscreen which gives it a so much nicer profile

Thanks both of you! I like it. I'm just over 6ft 1in tall, and the extra 2 inches headroom gives me a better fit than the other models. And being 9 inches longer, I can get more golf gear in! I'm still jealous of the look of an OTS when the hood is down though. Mind you, the webasto roof gives you a bit of the open air feel.

Lovely looking car Malcolm. Like you, I plumped for a 2+2 because of the extra door length for ease of access. I have terrible knee problems and found the FHC too restricting, it just wouldn't have worked for me.

It is horses for courses...they are after all, all E types and fabulous cars.

Welcome to the world of too much month left at the end of the money

Hi Malcolm,
Great looks! The white colour on this model is so elegant!
Wishing you great times driving and caring for.
