E Type car covers

I'm looking for a soft indoor cover for my dad's E type.
I'd like it to be custom fit and not just a soft cloth ;)

However, there are millions of dealers out there. Has anyone got any experience on good ones? And I must admit, I wasn't looking at spending ?300++....Sadly

Very (too?) cheap though...

However, the custom ones that you linked to Heuer are soo much nicer.

I've bought from them before and they've been fine. Good product and excellent prompt service. I've met the guy who runs the company, Greg, at car shows in the past and he seems fine too.

I urge caution with car covers. If the car is kept in a garage with a dry and preferably heated atmosphere, a covered car is unlikely to come to harm. If , however, the garage is subject to a damp atmosphere, ( and it need not be very damp, just a normal UK type atmosphere of a maritime climate ) then covers have a tendency to take up moisture and this, I believe, is a prime cause of the cars you see with micro-blistering. Of course, Norway, if away from the sea, may be a much drier climate than other parts of NW Europe

Yuh I agree with Chris - be carefull. When I had my Etype painted, the gent doing the spray work advised me to never cover the paintwork with a cloth unless the garage was fully dehumidified as "it will cause microblisters".

So I dont cover the car but I do have a fan continually moving the air around which touch wood seems to keep condensation from forming. Naturally it does not stop dust - but a quick wipe over with one of those huge California car dusters solves that in moments...

Something like a Carcoon which I guess solve both issues?
