Looks nice. Are you going to convert it to RHD or can you drive it as is in the UK?

I'm thinking to leave as is until I've had a reasonable chance to drive it in the UK, and it, and it Would be handy for the European continent as lhd.

looks beautiful! The gear knob - if you look at my Avatar, you'll see it looks like mine. I ordered mine from an English guy working in the states. He makes them by hand, and he put the centre emblem on by request; he found it as a lapel pin being marketed (it wasn't a standard thing too have on an e type gear knob)
Do you know where your's came from?

Don't know about the gear knob, but the car was based in davenport Florida.

Hello Ian, I hope to run it for a while and see if it needs any work. I just want to be able to use it regularly.
I should be able to attend tatton, so may see you there for a chat.

Hello Dave,

Looks like a tidy car. Like Ian, I'm not far from you in Macclesfield and am hoping to get to Tatton.

Regards,

Simon

I have the same gear fob. It has a Jaguar logo on top.

I restored this Little gem, because it was intact when the car left Georgia, but was in 3 pieces when it arrived- so someone tried on it I am Sure, broke it and left the remains.

Now, maybe a Retro fit, or "original to US Cars" - I have no idea, other then to have Seen it quite often on US Cars.

Maybe someone else knows more on this ? Mine is 66 S1 2+2.

Carsten
